So we are in the grips of a deadly pandemic which got me at the beginning.cough cough! & a vile political nightmare. Sooo I started writing again and absolutely didn't wanna get political this time. But I had wanted to get back to my guitar playing roots & create some new distinctive riff rock. So the great Leslie West & Eddie Van Halen sadly passed away & I was thinking about them a lot when I cut the solos. And on top of that The Beatles, Hendrix & AC/DC crossed my mind on this track as well. It was about playing & singing emotionally and letting it rip & not thinking too much. I also said to a friend of mine as long as my guitar playing was back in that groove I didn't even care if the lyrics sucked or had inane cliches.haha! I layered the guitars & vocals until I liked it & this came out on 2/22/21 and is my latest single. Also Joe Vitale said to me he thought this was probably the best Benny L track we've ever recorded. Hard for me to think that way but he is usually right. And the more i listen the more i agree. It's fresh again! I can also say this. It is probably the hardest rocking track I have put out in 20 years!! And i have another one coming soon. I am damn proud of this one. Hope you like it like we do!! Enjoy!! Go!!!
